Albert HAHN (Amsterdam 1894 - 1953)
Hahn was born to a divorced mother, who later remarried to the well-known artist Alberg Hahn, whose name Albert Jr. also took over. Hahn was a graphic designer, illustrator, art theorist, political cartoonist, draftsman and art teacher. He wrote the book 'Troelstra in de caricatuur' in 1925 and 'Caricature' in 1935. During the First World War he was an art teacher and after the war he went to work for the weekly magazines 'De Notenkraker' and 'De Nieuwe Amsterdammer'. For De Notenkraker he made socialist prints, like his stepfather. He also made many illustrations for a variety of books.
