HEIJENBROCK, Johann Coenraad HermannJohann Coenraad Hermann Heijenbrock(nickname: Herman), painter of working conditions and industrial processes and founder of the Museum of Labor in Amsterdam, was born in Amsterdam on July 27, 1871 and died in Blaricum on March 18, 1948. He was the son of Johann Coenraad Hermann Heijenbrock, bread baker and merchant in ship supplies, and Hendrika Fleumer. On 2 March 1899 he married Theodora Agatha des Amorie van der Hoeven, a zealot for women's suffrage and socialism, with whom he had two daughters.
