Michel Delacroix
Painter
Born in Paris (France) in 1933 .
Michel DELACROIX painted charming historical scenes from Paris, with nostalgic and romantic moments. Although Paris has changed over the years, Delacroix's works retain a timelessness due to his naive painting style. Delacroix permeates each work with an intimate feeling, permeating each work while capturing the idealism of a bygone century.
Michel Delacroix experimented with all kinds of techniques, and subsequently developed his own style. His style is called naive because of his candor, but his work is made with the skills and knowledge of a well-trained artist. His skillful use of paint, precise details and subtle palette are beautiful and fascinating.
Delacroix's work has been featured in more than 300 solo exhibitions in the United States alone, as well as exhibitions in Asia and Europe. In 1976 Michel Delacroix's work was bought by the Ministry of Culture for Paris Fonds National d'Art Contemporain, a very great honor as an artist. Delacroix also became the Official Artist for the 1996 Centennial Olympics and Official Artist for the 1995 World Olympics. Bla bla bla ALINEA 1 about 5 or 6 lines
