Theo SWAGEMAKERS (Tilburg 1898 - Laren 1994).
Swagemakers received his painting training at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts in Brussels and the Académie Colorossi in Paris, among others. In 1929 he had his first exhibition at Galerie Jacob in Paris. He has made many portraits of, among others, members of the Royal House, electors and bankers. In addition to portraits, he also painted landscapes, seascapes and still lifes.
