Founded in 1945 - dissolved in 1958
The Cuijkse Groep consisted of a group of artists who were inspired by the Land van Cuijk in their work, an area in what is today the northeast of the province of Brabant. Most members of the group had fled to this area during the war to go into hiding. In the end they lingered in the Cuijk area. The members of the Cijkse Groep met to talk about art and were mainly engaged in graphic design. Other artists were also regular visitors to Het Land van Cuijk and can therefore also be counted as part of the Cuijkse Groep.
