Shortly after the Second World War, the Association of Practitioners of the Bound Arts, also called the Federation of the Bound Arts, was established as a subsection of the Federation of Professional Associations of Artists. This association consisted of several professional groups. The Association of Practitioners of the Bound Arts was the department for wall painters that Willem Sandberg and architect Mart Stam led. The Association of Practitioners of Monumental Arts was established from the GKf.
