L'Union des Arts

L'Union des Arts was an artists' association based in Brussels. Artists who could not identify with L'Essor, which had been founded somewhat earlier, were the basis of the foundation of L'Union des Arts. The success of the exhibitions organized by L'Union des Arts failed to materialize and the association was dissolved in 1885. The artists' association Forward was subsequently founded as a successor.
