Founded in 1952 - dissolved in 1968
The Association of Practitioners of the Monumental Arts originated from the Affiliated Arts Federation, within which there was discussion about the admission of craftsmen and industrial designers. The Association of Practitioners of Monumental Arts strived for “a generally accepted, self-evident place for monumental art in the Netherlands, and to maintain a high level in this art”. At the end of the 1950s, architects' interest in monumental art waned, and the association was eventually dissolved.
