Iconic screen print of Marilyn, based on a publicity photo for the 1953 film Niagara . The screen print is partly provided with 'silver printing'.
The work is not signed or numbered, but is posthumously stamped on the back with the estate stamp, the stamp of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. These "printer proofs" were a reference for the actual printing, and were used for exhibitions and promotion of the series. Since it is a proof, there may be minor differences, damage and/or blemishes (from the printing processes). For example, the blue background is not completely even, but contains some spots of lighter blue.

Passe-partout/frames: Damage to frames is not described. If a work is framed behind glass and the glass is broken, this will be mentioned. Passe-partouts are not guaranteed in any way and are not always included.
Edition: The edition number on the photo may differ from the correct edition number mentioned above. If we have several copies in the same condition, we will not take a new photo for each leaf.
