Heyboer used printing ink for this representation.
The painting is very beautifully and professionally framed; the representation is not glued and placed on acid-free museum cardboard by means of the corners. Then the whole thing is placed in a kind of 'wall cabinet' (museum glass). The whole thing is about five centimeters deep.
