Anton Franciscus Pieck was born in Den Helder on 19 April 1895 and died in Overveen on 24 November 1987. He was the twin brother of the artist Henri C. Pieck.
Educated at the Hague Drawing Institute Bik and Vaandrager, the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and the State Academy of Art in Amsterdam.
Designer of the fairytale park "De Efteling".
Gave drawing lessons at the Kennemer Lyceum in Overveen from 1920 to 1960.
