This lithograph was specially published on the occasion of his retrospective exhibition in 1976. Came in an envelope with a 1976 book. The exhibition in the cultural center in Venlo was on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before the opening, Anton Rooskens passed away suddenly. He was no longer able to sign the lithographs.
In this work you will find features from his African period (1950s). The lithograph is derived from a woodcut from 1952. See last photo for illustration.
