Een prachtig klassiek landschapsschilderij ( "herfstlandschap", olieverf op karton ) van de Nederlandse kunstschilder Arend van de Pol (1886-1956). Met een ornamenten lijst. Gesigneerd links onder en gedateerd 1925. Het kunstwerk is in een goede conditie. De lijst heeft enkele gebruikssporen. Het werk is te bezichtigen bij Kunsthandel Martins te Wolvega (Friesland) en wordt geleverd met een echtheidscertificaat.
Biografie:
De kunstenaar woonde en werkte voornamelijk in Utrecht e.o. Hij heeft ook in Frankrijk beeldende kunst gemaakt. Hij volgde lessen aan het genootschap Kunstliefde in Utrecht. Werkt in impressionistische trant, o.a. stillevens, landschappen met schapen en riviergezichten. Werk van Arend van de Pol bevindt zich in diverse musea.
