Avigail Yoresh was born in Transylvania (Romania) in 1937. As a child, she emigrated with her parents to Israel. She received her education at the Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem, where she studied graphic design. Together with her husband Yithzak, well-known for his animations and visualizations, she made designs, illustrations and animated films.
Since 1972 she has devoted herself entirely to painting. Her style is very recognizable and she has had several exhibitions in Israel, Europe and North America. Her works are spread worldwide in private collections. She lives and works in Jerusalem.
