Deze catalogus gaat over het portfolio van de graficus Bob Gill (1931-2021). De tekst en het Illustratiemateriaal zijn ontleend aan het boek Bob Gill's portfolio, gepubliceerd door Lund Humphries, Londen 1968.
Bob Gill's directheid zit niet alleen in zijn karakter, maar is ook terug te zien in zijn werk.
Gill speelde een belangrijke rol bij de oprichting van de Designer and Art Directors Association in Londen, de DADA, een zusterorganisatie van de Art Directors club in Nederland. Door zijn invloed kregen de leden van deze organisatie een zuiverder inzicht in het werk.
Het doel van deze tentoonstelling was dan ook om het werk van Bob Gill in Nederland te tonen in de hoop dat de tentoonstelling ook veel jongeren zou trekken.
