Carolein Smit's werken zijn door diverse collecties aangekocht, waaronder het Frysia Museum, Eneco NV, het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, Museum Beelden aan Zee, The Royal Victoria and Albert Museum in Londen en door privé-collecties wereldwijd.
