Cees Bolding was born in Wormerveer on 7 January 1897 and died in The Hague on 1 November 1979.
Educated at the State School for Applied Arts in Amsterdam and the State Academy for Visual Arts in Amsterdam. Pupil of Nicolaas van der Waay, J.H.Jurres and GA Sturm.Later teacher at the State Institute for the Training of Drawing Teachers.
Teacher, graphic artist, painter, watercolourist and draftsman. Member of the Dutch Association of Marine Painters, Arti et Amicitiae, Pulchri Studio and the Hague Watercolourists.
