Dutch artist Christiaan Lieverse, 1971, had his first solo exhibition in 2000 and experienced his international breakthrough in 2005. Lieverse's oeuvre includes abstract as well as figurative and experimental contemporary works that are exhibited internationally at the most prominent fairs.

Since 2008, Christiaan has been making an exclusive edition of selected originals with 'Atelier Lieverse'. With a unique technique, developed by himself in recent years, he knows how to guarantee the authenticity and uniqueness of the edition. Different layers of paint and material are used to create transparency, color depth and relief. The contrast of the rough linen, the speed of the palette knife and the refined brush strokes are characteristic of the works and contribute to the consciously and unconsciously sought differences of the pieces.
