Information about the artist: Coenraad ('Coen') Schilt (Groningen, 21 October 1907 – Groningen, 5 April 1990), sculptor, painter, draftsman and poet. -Education: He studied from around 1920 at the Minerva Academy in Groningen. From 1933 he did the daytime course there and graduated in 1935. He was a student of Arnold Willem Kort and Willem Valk, among others. After his education he started painting and sculpting.
