Cornelis Kloos Biografie
Cornelis Kloos (Rotterdam 1895-1976 Den Haag)was schilder en beeldhouwer en volgde eerst een opleiding tot tekenleraar. Pas na 1925, hij was toen 30, koos hij voor een bestaan als kunstenaar. Hij volgde lessen op de academie in Den Haag, bij Hans Hoffmann in München en bij André Lhote in Parijs. Kloos was onder meer lid van Pulchi Studio in Den Haag en de Haagse Kunstkring. Hij schilderde in een realistische stijl vooral erotische naaktfiguren, met jonge meisjes als model. Ook zijn er landschappen van hem bekend.
