Dasha and Mari are twin sisters born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1985.
Their stylish, cinematic works are reminiscent of the fashion photography of the past & there is a hint of the master provocateur Helmut Newton in some of their more challenging pieces.
Their work fuses fine art photography with a vintage fashion aesthetic to create an intricate blend of contemporary creativity. Combining classicism and modernity their photography bestows a controlled extravagance from the penetrating gaze of the camera.
