The collection period, if paid in advance, is very long. In other words, the buyer can pick up the work weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the above-mentioned cities or the beach. Dick CASSEE (Bloemendaal 1930)

Watercolorist, sculptor, graphic artist, photographer

Cassee trained at the AKI Enschede from 1950-1954. In 1961 he worked in Paris in Atelier 17 with SW Hayter. From 1966 to 1988, Cassee was a teacher at the Academy of Visual Arts and Design in Den Bosch.

Dick Cassee is one of the most important graphic artists in the Netherlands. Nowadays he lives and works in Amsterdam. Cassee makes landscapes, dune landscapes, non-figurative and geometric abstract work. Dick Cassee is inspired by vast deserted landscapes, his drawings are created from direct observation. He draws the subject ten times on the spot to "take the shape with him", after which they are further developed in the studio. After 2006, the figurative similarity becomes secondary for him.
