Eduard Johannes Fredericus Houbolt (Delft, August 9, 1885 - The Hague, January 14, 1954) was a Dutch painter, graphic artist, art restorer and publicist. He lived and worked in The Hague, but was also temporarily active in Belgium and France. He was a student of the Academy for BK in The Hague (1905-1908). His repertoire was very diverse. He painted, made drawings and etched portraits, nudes, biblical scenes, but also still lifes and landscapes. He was a member of both the Hague Sketch Club and the Dutch Art Circle.
