The work was subsequently part of the collection of Gerard Hofland, a world-famous gallery owner who sells a lot of work by Eugene Brands.
The condition of the work is very good, only the paper in the top right corner is no longer completely smooth. It will probably have been in his studio or between the folders for a while, that charming idea makes everything right for me anyway. The colors are beautiful and striking. The frame is in very good condition and the work looks good.
