Groot, kleurrijk schilderij van Surinaamse schilder Frank Creton - ook wel de schilder van 'het Surinaamse gevoel' genoemd. Frank Creton beoogt met zijn werk authentieke Surinaamse taferelen vast te leggen om deze te behouden voor toekomstige generaties. Hij omschrijft zijn stijl als expressionistisch realistisch.
De materialen van het schilderij zijn olieverf op canvas. De afmetingen zijn 100x140 cm. Het schilderij dateert uit 1987. Handgesigneerd.
