Unique painting with two paintings on the front and back by Fred Bervoets. Bervoets is a plastic artist who works with various painting techniques, his visual language is rough and raw. This painting is a typical example of this. The paint has been applied pasty to some parts. It is his passion to always be able to paint. It is not clear whether this is why the painter painted on both sides or whether he was less satisfied with the first work. There is a signature on the front. The work dates from 1989. In 1994 Bervoets had a double exhibition in Scotsdale, Arizona with Jean-Michel Basquiat, who had been dead for three years. As an artist you could not ask for more to launch your career internationally. Bervoets thought otherwise. He never wanted to travel. The only thing that really interests him is being able to do his own thing artistically. Always working. No concessions to anyone. However, some lithographs have been made of this painting. The work is framed behind glass but looks better without glass.
