Georg Wittwer (Koblenz, 1959) worked as a gardener between 1978 and 1987. After this he started his studies at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf, majoring in Sculpture. He was taught here by Professor Reusch and Professor T. Cragg, among others. Wittwer has been working as a freelance artist since graduating. Since 1992 he has been a member of the Kunstgroep in Bonn and from 2001 to 2004 he worked as a teacher at the art academy in Düsseldorf.
