We can also send the work via Postnl. Our shipping days are Tuesday and Thursday.
Hans Blanken was educated at the Royal Academy of BK in The Hague and the Free Academy there. He took all the time to make his etchings, sometimes making three or four a year. Print runs were not exceptionally high, but some etchings are known in several states. Many editions of his etchings have been completely sold out over the years. Around 2000, Blanken stopped making etchings. His oeuvre consists of about 120 etchings. Themes and subjects in his work go back to his native region in South Holland, to references in literature and to his stay on Curaçao, but the surroundings of his home in Wanswert also feature in his work.

Condition
ConditionVery good
The performance is in very good condition. There are some adhesive residues from a previous framing on the back. The work has been framed because it is very slightly discolored within the edges of the old passe-partout, properly framed with a new passe-partout, this is no longer noticeable.
