Giacomo Agostini (born 16 June 1942) is an Italian former Grand Prix motorcycle racer. Nicknamed "Ago", he achieved 122 Grand Prix victories and 15 World Championships. Of these, 68 wins and 8 titles came in the 500 cc class, with the remainder in the 350 cc class. For these achievements over the course of a 17-year career, the AMA described him as "...arguably the greatest Grand Prix rider of all time". In 2000, Agostini was inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame as a MotoGP Legend, while in 2010 he was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycle achievements.

Henk Stadman was born near the legendary TT circuit of Assen and grew up surrounded by the world of speed and competition. As a young boy he became fascinated by world champions like Mike Hailwood, Giacomo Agostini, Phil Read, Renzo Pasolini and many others. These early impressions have had a lasting impact on his work and form the basis of his impressive art career. With a keen eye for detail and a deep love for motorsports, Henk translates these iconic moments into paintings that capture the soul of racing.
