Henri Koetser lived from 1878 to 1952. He lived and worked in Maastricht and Amsterdam until 1900, Emmen, London, Blaricum, Laren, Barneveld and Hilversum. He was a student of the Rijksacademie of Amsterdam under the direction of August Alleb_ and C.L.Dake. His profession was he was an art dealer and also a painter of interiors, with figures and landscapes. He became well-known for his etchings after paintings by Jacob Maris, among others.
