He taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leuven and at the School of Decorative Arts in Vilvoorde. Logelain was a member of the free atelier L'Effort where he met Auguste Oleffe, of the Royal Belgian Society of Watercolourists and of the Belgian Society of Painters of the Sea (Navy).
