Johannes Cornelis (Jan) van der Heijden. Geboren, 1911 te Leiden en overleden in 1992 te Delfgauw. Hij woonde en werkte in Den Haag, Enkhuizen en Delfgauw. Leerling van de Akademie voor B.K. in Den Haag, Schilderde. aquarelleerde en tekende landschappen stillevens en modellen. Is enige jaren lid geweest van Pulchri Studio in Den Haag. Heeft vooral bekendheid gekregen door zijn vele polderlandschappen die gretig aftrek hadden in de kunsthandel in Nederland, maar ook in het buitenland. Afm totaal: 64 x 44 cm Beeldformaat: 59 x 38.5 cm. Inclusief, ophangmogelijkheid, houten lijst en glasplaat. i.v.m. glasplaat wordt het extra goed ingepakt.
