A beautiful lithograph by Jan Voerman jr. (1890 -1976) from 1925 No. 35 of 75. The work is framed behind glass with a mat. The piece measures 15 x 15 cm. The frame measures 21 x 21 cm. Hand signed in pencil and signature in the work. Also year '25 (1925). Jan Voerman Jr. attended training at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. In 1923 he married Hetty Mansholt and moved to Overveen where he became known as a lithographer. In 1932 he moved to Blaricum. Voerman was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau in 1975. He died in June 1976 at the age of 86 in Blaricum.
