Prachtig kleurrijk schilderij van Johannes Sonnenberg (1886-1937). Olieverf op doek, ingelijst, gesigneerd rechtsonder. Doek is in perfecte staat, de linkerbovenhoek van de lijst is enigszins beschadigd (zie foto)
Afmetingen: 102cm x 81cm (incl. lijst), 90cm x 70cm (doek).
Sonnenberg stond bekend om zijn uitbundige gebruik van kleuren en kleurnuances. Ook in dit schilderij is het moeilijk te zeggen of het nu een boot op het strand bij maanlicht is, of op klaarlichte dag waar de hemel is bezaaid met regen bezwangerde wolken.
Bij eventuele aankoop moet het werk opgehaald worden in Diemen in verband met de kwetsbaarheid en waarde van het werk. Brengen rond Amsterdam voor benzine vergoeding is eventueel mogelijk.
