Designed in 1962 by Otto Brauer after a 1959 design by Per Lutken. The 'Floorvase' is probably Holmegaard's most famous product and an icon of mid-century modern design. The Gulvvase is made in 5 sizes and originally produced in amber brown, cobalt blue, green, ruby and opal white. All gulvvases were produced in the Fyens glass factory on the Danish island of Funen. Gulvvases were produced by (Kastrup until 1965) Holmegaard between 1962 and 1980.
