After training at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, he worked for several years at the First Dutch Free Studio, under the direction of François Erdely and Christiaan de Moor. From 1930 to 2002 he worked in The Hague. Andréa also worked in Loosduinen, Hungary, France, Spain, Limburg and Rijswijk.
