She became well-known for her virtuoso and dynamic etchings about sports, but especially for her work in which she incorporated all kinds of aspects of aviation. Via the Naval Aviation Service she came to the Seafaring. Commissioned by the Royal Navy she made several etchings about their new frigates. In connection with the work that the artist made for the Royal Dutch Navy, she was commissioned in 2005 to make 14 large works of art for the new ship of the Holland America Line, the MS Noordam. The most important theme in her work remains movement, which is carried by a clever application and combination of the different etching techniques. On 9 November 2008 she won the BAS Grafiekprijs from 69 entries with her work “Apollo thirteen.
