Lense Elzinga born Amsterdam 27 January 1930. Lived and worked in this city, Delft, Alkmaar, Grasse (Fr.), Meaux (Fr.), Amsterdam; since 1962 in De Rijp (NH). Student of the Institute for Applied Arts Education in Amsterdam under the direction of ED du Mont and J. Reints. Draws, etches and lithographs, landscapes and figures; is also a sculptor.
Makes wood engravings, hardboard cuts, monotypes and calligraphy. Member of the Artists Center Bergen. Taught Frank Reyn and Pim Schilt. Teaches at the Folk High School in Bergen (NH).
