Leo Poelmeijer (Zaandijk 1934 – 2018) was graficus en schilder. Na de Grafische school ging hij werken als vormgever. Toch bleef hij altijd bezig met het maken van vrije beeldende kunst. Hij volgde lessen bij de Gerrit de Jong en de schilder Gerrit Woudt.
