Louis van Marissing (1951) is a visual artist who started out as a draughtsman. After years of exploring his fascination for painting in (often red) paintings, drawing is back at the heart of his work. In colourful pen drawings, often combined with text, there is a reaction to life and living together. The drawings cover a wide range from poetic reflection to sharp political commentary.
