She studied with Henri Frédéric Boot and Huib Luns. She was married to the painter Willem August van der Colk. [2] Her work was included in the exhibition and sale Onze Kunst van Heden in 1939 at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. [3] She was a member of the Kunst zij ons doel and Artists' Association Sint Lucas [nl]. [2]
