Mariano HERNANDEZ (Toledo 1928) Spaanse beeldhouwer. Hij heeft kunst gestudeert in Argentinië en in zijn vroege werken zie de beïnvloeding door de lokale volkskunst van dat land. Later veranderde hij zijn stijl, verwant aan de Cobra-groep en de geometrische abstractie, integratie van de iconografie van massa-media uit 1968. Zijn werken zijn te zien in verschillende musea en tal van collectioneurs hebben werken van deze kunstenaar in hun collectie.
