This tin was designed by Escher and issued in 1963 by the Verblifa as a promotional gift on the occasion of the 75th anniversary 1888-1963.
The tin consists of 20 surfaces, an icosahedron. On the faces of the triangles are three striped shells on a gray background. On each point there are 2 half legs of a starfish. Because the twenty-square is attached to each other to make a can, 5 points always come together, so that the starfish automatically has 5 legs. The shells are pressed into the tin. On the bottom is the well-known Escher logo combined with the years of the Vereenigde Blikfabrieken.
Inside in good condition with wear spots. Some wear spots on the outside on the edges. See the photos for a correct impression.
