This beautiful artwork, signed by Mia Bake in 1922, offers an intimate glimpse into her exceptional talent. She received drawing lessons from the renowned artist Jan Veth and studied at both the Amsterdam Dagteekenschool and the Rijksacademie. Her work shows a deep understanding of nature and a refined sense of composition. She also published a study on the famous Dutch artist Jan Toorop. Her oeuvre is recognized and appreciated, and the Rijksmuseum has included some of her works in their online archive.
