Het lichaam is voor mij echter geen bron van esthetisch genot, maar een object van mijn onderzoek.Het is een lichaam, naakt, ongekleed, dat veel kan vertellen over de eigenaar. Elk jaar merk ik steeds vaker dat vormen, lijnen, huid, hun combinaties allemaal componenten zijn van de gecodeerde code die karakter en lot van een persoon kan onthullen.Door middel van fotografie probeer ik de kijker de mysteries over te brengen die ik heb ontrafeld", schrijft Nata in haar Artist's Statement.Nata Chebotareva is een hedendaagse kunstenaar, gespecialiseerd in naakt-, kunst- en portretfotografie. De foto's van Nata worden verzameld door particuliere verzamelaars over de hele wereld en verschillende musea (bijv. Russisch Staatsmuseum)
