Informatie over de fotograaf:
Nico Koster (1940) is een veelzijdig fotograaf. Hij reisde met Corneille naar Cuba, vereeuwigde de Bed-in for Peace actie van John Lennon en Yoko Ono en was als fotojournalist getuige van dramatische gebeurtenissen zoals de trainkaping bij De Punt en de bezetting van het Indonesisch Consulaat in Amsterdam (1975). Foto's van die laatste gebeurtenis leverden hem in 1975 de tweede prijs op in de categorie Nieuws van World Press Photo. In 1983 won hij de Zilveren Camera.
