Illustrates with etchings including Uylenspiegel by C. De Coster. Lives and works in Brussels until 1914; stays in the Netherlands for a few years and settles permanently in Paris around 1920. Works in numerous museums, including Brussels, Amsterdam, Arnhem, The Hague, Dordrecht, Otterlo, Paris, Dresden, Munich, Moscow, Prague and Chicago.
