Georges Simon was a student of Henri Dropsy (1885-1969) at l'École des beaux-arts de Paris. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes français where he received a mention in 1936 and a bronze medal in 1939. He had his studio in Cité Montmartre-aux-artistes in Paris.
