"Met mijn kunst probeer ik een nieuwe aanpak en visie te definiëren van de pure esthetiek van landschappen en natuur. Ik wil deze omkeren en vernieuwen van het tijdloze perspectief van verbeelding om de onderliggende om zichtbaar te maken.
Ik bemerk landschap als een fysieke ruimte waar een kunt rondhangen, maar ook als een mentale ruimte, als poëtische bewustzijn. Mijn schilderijen, foto's en korte films gaan allemaal over sfeer, wat het en het verlangen om te worden in beslag genomen door het overstijgt."
