The original edition by Pieter A. Scheen, 2-part lexicon from 1969 Title: Dutch visual artists 1750-1950 Pieter Arie Scheen (The Hague, April 1, 1916 – Apeldoorn, November 10, 2003) wrote the two-part standard work The well-known reference work in red artificial leather binding with gold print, published in 1969-1970 A wonderful reference work for antique dealers, art lovers or collectors. This is a reference work in which artists from the aforementioned period are listed alphabetically with a brief characteristic description of their work. In addition, both parts are supplemented with several hundred excellent b/w and color photo illustrations on glossy paper. Condition: in good used condition considering the age, some light traces of wear on the cover edges, the inside is just neat, but slight discoloration of the page edges.
